With the clock ticking towards SEMA and launch of the production Tanom Invader, our manufacturing facility in Detroit is tooling up to produce the state of the art body panels for the Invader. To mass produce the Invader body, Tanom has selected the RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) and RIM (Reaction Injection Molding) manufacturing processes. These body panels are made utilizing the same technology featured in modern F-1 and Indy-Car construction, making them super light weight and incredibly strong. In addition, the hood, roof, front fenders and storage compartment doors will be available in optional Carbon Fiber.

Devouring asphalt one turn at a time, the Tanom Invader stands out from the crowd with sport-bike performance, automotive comfort and exotic car style. Touting innovative formula one inspired suspension that incorporates Elka shocks and Wilwood brakes, the Invader carves though turns with surgical precision. Putting all of Invaders power to the ground is no small feat and it requires the grip of the a largest production tire. The massive 18-inch wide by 20” diameter Mickey Thompson rear tire is coupled to a light weight custom billet three piece rim and aluminum swing arm with a fully adjustable mono-shock suspension.

Utilizing our unique reverse trike layout, the Invader allows a driver and passenger to sit in side-by-side comfort surrounded by the safety of a full steel roll cage. Beneath its silky skin there is a 197-horse power engine capable of pushing it from 0 to 60 mph in less than four seconds and a top speed of 150 mph. The Invader’s short 96” wheelbase rides on a fully adjustable double wishbone formula one inspired, suspension equipped. It’s further complemented with incredible stopping power provided by four piston Wilwood brake calipers.

These ergonomically contoured sport seats are designed to accommodate even the largest 6′ plus riders, and feature fully adjustable head rests and 7” inches of fore and aft adjustment. The Invader TC-3 is the first production trike to surround riders with all the creature comforts and thoughtful conveniences you would expect to find in any modern car. Standard features include Tanom’s fresh air ventilation system, dual beverage holders, power-point, grab handles, overhead map light and a locking glove box. For those of you not satisfied with the symphony provided by the roar of the engine or the wind in your hair, Tanom has you covered with a custom audio package. This comprehensive package includes a Rockford Fosgate speakers and amp combined with an exclusive Tanom double DIN touch screen head unit. This unit comes complete with GPS, DVD, CD, NAV, SAT and is Bluetooth and MP3 compatible. There’s even an optional backup camera available with our deck lid mounted spoiler to make backing up a snap. With all these amenities, the road less traveled will now be a whole lot more comfortable!

Tanom crew does lunch with Foose

On our recent trip to Los Angles the Tanom crew stopped by Foose Design to have lunch with our long time friend Chip Foose. “Chips wheel designs are hot and this design complimented the exterior styling I developed for the Tanom Invader” said Director of Design for Tanom Motors, Adam Canni. Of coarse Chip was happy to see his wheels on our prototype.
